Dear all, I am writing to report the service at the airport. Today I arrived from Bujumbura to the airport to fly to Doha with final destination Stockholm and the person who checked my passport during the first check on the ground floor told me that my return ticket was not confirmed in addition to that she told me that the regulations in Rwanda say that if I travel with Qatar on the way out, I must travel with Qatar on the return which I find insane. She waited an hour and I cried while I asked to speak to her manager, which she refused and I missed my flight and paid for a new ticket which cost me too much and I found that it is not professional behavior. Her name is Peace U. and I hope this doesn't happen again in the future. I love Rwanda, because it's very efficient and everyone is professional and transparent, that's why I didn't expect this behavior. I hope these comments are helpful. Thanks, Melanie

I would like to raise a complaint about Betty at Brussels airline for her extremely rude and unprofessional behaviour. This never happened to me, and I am very disappointed as usually Kigali airport staff is extremely professional

While the airport staff seem to be generally friendly, and the Wi-Fi stable, the experience is not great. The chairs are not comfortable and the airport does not feel clean. Also, for some unexplained reason it is not possible to buy a glass bottle of Coca-Cola at the airport, have it wrapped in security wrapping, and then taken through, despite it being available for all other liquids. The airport also never answers the phone number provided on the website, so all in all this is a poor customer experience.

Today, I came to the airport to fly to Abuja, I was granted the visa on arrival by the Nigerian embassy and still the person checking my passport at the first check at the ground floor said she didn’t believe it was sufficient. She waited one hour with me crying as I was asking to speak to her manager. Once the manager arrived he recognized my visa was official and to let me through. I almost missed my flight, and this is unprofessional behavior. Her name is Peace U. and I hope that this will not happen again in the future. I love living in Rwanda, as it is very efficient and everyone is professional and transparent, that is why I wasn’t expecting this behavior. I hope this feedback is useful. Thanks, Lara
